That's an excellent photo. With the leading 43 heading off you caught the exhaust in a perfect position

Charlie Smith who was the Signalman whom I worked for back in 1956-58 must be turning in his grave when he see's what a state the track appears to be in. It looks like they have give the box a lick of paint. Thanks for the link, Errol

Hi Alex Very interesting pic; I have a fascination for thi train![sad,sad!] The wagons are BTA and I think unusually, have 16 pipes load each. In the past the load was 15, 3rows of 4 and the top one of 3 nesting in the 4. Its also unusual to see such a consist; 4-8 has been the norm. Has the frequency been reduced, I wonder. Thanks!

Thanks for this Alex. '110 is a fav of mine having seen it shunting HAA into Inverurie yard megga years ago. Also TTA in green 'jet A1' branded. One day will have a train just as this pic!
